As the school year comes to an end, one of the best ways to close out the school year is with a night of fun and music with friends. Every May, students get to enjoy our school’s annual event, Soulstice, featuring student and staff performances ranging from soloists to bands performing anything from pop, to rock, to jazz. This year’s Soulstice will take place on Thursday, May 16.
One of the best parts about Soulstice is that anyone can perform. Any student who wants to showcase their musical abilities has the opportunity to perform for their friends, family, teachers, and community members. Additionally, Soulstice often marks the final musical performances of the year after an entire year of musical events like school concerts, the musical, Notes of Hope, and Java Jam. This year’s Soulstice will feature many familiar faces on the stage, as many seniors will enjoy their final performance as Lower Moreland students.
Soulstice also gives students a chance to have fun and take a break from the stressful end of the school year. With May and June being marked by AP Exams, final projects, and finals, Soulstice offers a night to think about nothing other than fun, friends, and music. As the event will be held outside, audience members often bring beach chairs or picnic blankets to spend the night hanging with friends, enjoying snacks, and watching their peers perform.
There’s really nothing better than taking a night off to celebrate spring with your friends and just enjoy the annual tradition of Soulstice! We hope to see you there!!!
