Lower Moreland High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter had an exciting and successful showing at this year’s FBLA State Leadership Conference in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Ten students who qualified from the regional competition traveled to compete against top talent from across the state, and students two qualified for Nationals.
Seniors Kejdi Shahaj and Josh Eappen placed 4th in the highly competitive Sports and Entertainment Management event, earning them a spot at the National Conference later this year. Their teamwork, business knowledge, and preparation impressed the judges and secured them a place among Pennsylvania’s best.
Ari Manilov also stood out, placing 5th in Business Financial Statement Analysis, an especially impressive accomplishment considering this was his first year competing in FBLA.
The full list of state competitors includes Kejdi Shahaj, Josh Eappen, Ari Manilov, Arya Chakkaravarthi, Miron Achilov, Ravshanbek Achilov, Veronika Chornodola, Jasmine Daniel, Alyssa Dao, and Sophia Ksenzenko. Each represented Lower Moreland with pride and worked diligently in their respective competitive events.
As Lower Moreland’s FBLA chapter continues to grow, this year’s state success sets a high bar—and with Nationals on the horizon, the future looks bright for the young business leaders.
