Located in Bryn Athyn, Glencairn Museum was built between 1928 and 1939 as the home of Raymond and Mildred Pitcairn. It now serves as a museum showcasing traditions through artifacts and art from around the world. Visitors can explore galleries featuring everything from medieval stained glass to ancient Egyptian treasures.
Each holiday season, Glencairn hosts a global celebration with its World Nativities Exhibition, an annual tradition since 2009. This year’s display highlights 57 Nativity sets from 31 countries, each with a unique cultural take on the story of Jesus’ birth. The exhibition blends artistic creativity with biblical inspiration, including touches like animals, costumes, and local traditions. The Glencairn World Nativities Exhibition continues well into the new year, remaining open until January 29th.
