On Saturday, September 7th, the Lower Moreland High School Interact Club hosted a car wash fundraiser to support Project Heal, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about eating disorders. The Interact Club was thrilled to join forces with Project Heal after being introduced to the cause by Alyssa Gottesman, a passionate ambassador for the non-profit.
Despite the scorching sun, the dedicated members of Interact Club fearlessly tackled the task for a whopping six hours straight! Armed with sponges, soap, and unyielding determination, they turned dusty cars into sparkling masterpieces, all for a great cause. Drivers and passengers alike were thrilled to support the fundraiser, and the overwhelming positive response was heartwarming!
Under the direction of Interact Club leaders Amanda Usonis, Jessie Becker, Ellie Rubin, Anna Akhobadze, Sarah Goldy, and Anabela Relvas, the Interact Club’s hard work paid off! Not only did they wash cars, but they also washed away the stigma of eating disorders and raised over $700 for Project Heal! It was an incredible achievement that left everyone feeling proud and fulfilled. This event was a fantastic success, and the Interact Club is already buzzing with ideas for next year’s fundraiser to support Project Heal. Great job, Interact Club!
