The 2023-2024 Lip Sync event hosted by the LMHS Buddy Club was a great opportunity for kids to put on a show for their friends and family members. This event, MC’d by Elizabeth Allen and Zoey Godfrey, had a total of 32 performers, and they all practiced for months in advance. There were a variety of performances from solos to small groups. The LMHS Buddy Club was joined by Hatboro-Horsham as well as Scott Levin and Dina Buno. All of the proceeds from the event went to the Special Olympics Foundation.
While things were being set up, there was a cute slideshow with pictures of all of the performers. Elizabeth and Zoey gave a welcoming speech, and the performances began. There were songs from “Shake It Off” to “Just the Way You Are”, and students from Hatboro-Horsham performed a wonderful Valentine’s Day medley. At the end, all of the LMHS Buddy Club members got together to sing “Hello,” and everyone did an ending bow.
This event was so fun to attend, with all of the money going to a great cause. The performances were all spot on, and everyone’s dance moves were super impressive! The number of family and friends that attended just shows how important this event was to everyone, and the amount of work put into this event truly showed.
Congratulations to the LMHS Buddy Club and performers for another amazing Lip Sync!!
